OekoCard
The OekoCard subscription is for those who live in the border region in Germany and who work in Luxembourg. It allows you to make an unlimited number of trips from Wittlich, Salmtal, Sehlem, Hetzerath, Föhren, Schweich (DB), Quint, Ehrang Ort, Ehrang, Pfalzel, Trier Hbf, Trier Süd, Karthaus, Kreuz Konz and Igel. The OekoCard is also valid for all forms of public transports in luxembourg (AVL, CFL, RGTR and TICE lines) at the national rate.
You can buy an annual or monthly subscription, 1st or 2nd class:

Roundtrip Luxembourg-Rhineland-Palatinate in the day
The offer « Tagesrückfahrkarte Luxemburg Spezial » allows you to make a trip by train from the station of your choice in Luxembourg to Trier, Wittlich, Bullay, Cochem or Koblenz and back the same day.

Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket-Plus-LU
At the price of 30 Euros for the first passenger and 6 Euros for each additional passenger (maximum 5 people), the offer "Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket-Plus-LU" allows you to travel during one day in 2nd class within Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland on regional trains and some buses. Children under 15 years travel for free with their parents or grand-parents (maximum 2 adult companions). This offer is not valid on IC trains.
From Monday to Friday, this offer is only valid from 9:00 in Germany (first train leaves at Luxembourg train station at 8:31). This restriction does not exist on weekends.
This offer is available at CFL sales points at train stations in Luxembourg-City, Esch-sur-Alzette, Belval-University, Ettelbruck, Bettembourg, Mersch, Troisvierges, Rodange, Pétange and Wasserbillig.
Luxembourg - Trier and the region
If you live near Trier and you are working in Luxembourg, three price categories allow you to use all modes of transportation in the luxembourg national network (RGTR, AVL, TICE, CFL) and the Trier regional network (VRT). Only RGTR lines with the RegioZone tariff are excluded.

The pricing structure, more commonly called « Übergangstarif » depends on the distance travelled.

Le tarif RegioZone
The RegioZone tariff is the main cross-border fare for buses to Luxembourg. It is valid on many cross-border connections, especially from the Saarland (SaarLuxBus), Rhineland-Palatinate (RGTR line 118) and Lorraine (RGTR lines 300 and 319). Depending on the length of the journey, the fares fall into one of three categories:
RegioZone tickets are also valid on the entire Luxembourg network and thus allow Luxembourg connections.
